Redzed is a Czech alternative rap-metal artist, producer, and performer known for his distinctive fusion of underground rap, nu metal, and doom metal. Hailing from Hustopeče, he began his musical journey as a guitarist, and today his music is built on heavy guitar riffs, self-recorded samples, and hard-hitting beats.

He debuted in 2016 under the name Melanchoboy1998, a project leaning into alternative and grunge sounds. His breakthrough came with the releases of GERD (2018) and Bohemian Psycho (2019), where he combined aggressive underground rap with metal-driven energy and melodic choruses—creating a unique style that quickly attracted a loyal fanbase both in the Czech Republic and internationally.

By 2024, Redzed had released seven major projects, including his latest album, Tales Of A Necromancer, which dropped in August 2024. He ranks among the most-streamed Czech artists on Spotify, with significant international reach. His work draws inspiration from the Y2K-era nu metal aesthetic, blending distorted phonk beats with breakdowns reminiscent of Korn or System of a Down. All his lyrics are in English—something he says allows him to express himself more naturally and with greater sonic freedom.

In 2024, Redzed will hit the road on the Black Mass Hysteria Tour, alongside RNZ and Fvck_Kvlt, performing in 14 cities across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He continues to perform abroad, building a dedicated global audience and gaining recognition in both the modern metal and alternative rap scenes. Known for his fearless experimentation and genre-blending sound, Redzed stands as one of the most original voices in today’s heavy music landscape.
